So I have decided to start reading more historical fiction from today. I have read some in the past that I really enjoyed. I think that Celia Rees and Mary Hooper write good historical fiction, especially the books Pirates! by Celia Rees and Fallen Grace by Mary Hooper.
I'm currently reading a book called Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly. I would say its part young adult/contemporary fiction, and part historical fiction. It's pretty good so far.

To Read Pile
Okay so here's a small pile of the books I need to read. I bought all these whilst on holiday on the coast in Yorkshire. I got them all from relatively cheap book shops. The one in the middle of the pile was only 99p! which is quite good considering its initial price was £7.99.
From top to bottom, the books are:
Ivy by Julie Hearn;
Soulless by Gail Carriger and
Girl With A Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier.

First Post on the blog
Hi, I'm Lucinda, and this is the first time I have ever really "created" a blog. I decided to start one now to show my love of books, and to review some of the stuff I am reading, what I own et cetera. I hope you all like it :)
